Plani ("we", "our", or "the app") is operated by Evgeniia Ocheredko. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Plani mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and display name from the authentication provider. If you use the app as a guest, no personal information is collected until you link an account.

App Data

We store the data you create within the app, including:

• Tasks and habits
• Categories
• Habit completion records
• App preferences (theme, reminder settings)

This data is stored locally on your device and, for signed-in users, synced to our cloud database powered by Supabase (hosted in the EU).

Analytics Data

We use Mixpanel (EU data residency) to collect anonymous usage analytics, such as which features are used and how often. This helps us improve the app. We collect:

• App events (e.g., task created, habit completed)
• Device platform (iOS/Android) and app version

Analytics data does not include the content of your tasks or habits.

Crash Reports

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and error logs. This may include device information, app state at the time of the crash, and your user ID (if signed in). This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and sync your tasks, habits, and preferences across devices
• To authenticate your identity
• To improve the app based on usage patterns
• To diagnose and fix technical issues
• To send daily reminder notifications (only if you enable them)

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the following service providers who process it on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication and data storage
• Mixpanel — usage analytics
• Sentry — crash reporting
• Apple / Google — authentication providers

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you maintain an active account. If you delete your account through the app settings, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), secure authentication tokens, and encrypted local storage to protect your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — all your data is visible within the app
• Delete your data — use the "Delete Account" option in Settings
• Export your data — contact us at the email below

7. Children's Privacy

Plani is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page.
